Zena Keife

Comedienne. Very cute, songs and characters well chosen, made good from the start. 14 min. in one.

Carl Randall

This boy reminds one of Laddie Cliff considerably and is quite clever on his account. Went fairly well, but claims some trouble with the orchestra that was a handicap to his act. Only did ten minutes, altho credited as doing fifteen to seventeen in other cities. Expect him to be straightened out after another orchestra rehearsal. Act in One.

May Elinore

Now works in grotesque makeup. All new material and she and the following act carried off the honors. As good a comedienne as Kate. A hit. In one.

Earl & Curtis

16 min. in one. Carry their own drop, representing a Parisian scene. Young woman makes a good appearance, but has only a moderate singing voice. Her lines contain little humor here and there, and the business got a few scattered laughs. Songs went much better and closed the act fairly well. Not an act for a strong place, but held number two acceptably.

Johnnie Stanley & Ruby Norton

12 min. in one. Placed directly after intermission, goes at first with a scream. Stanley works in audience through intermission as a water boy, and managed to get attention at once on opening. Good opening act, and both work fast. Songs went well.
