Belle Meyers

“Singing Comedienne” 10 min in 1 Fairly good.

Ethel Green

In 1. Time 23. Singing comedienne with quiet and eccentric methods. Her voice is powerful and sweet. She has several attractive gowns. Nearly every line she sang was full of double interpretation although nothing was far “off color.” A big hit.

Tracey & McBride

(22 mins.) Very good singing turn and a big laugh and applause hit. They have a burlesque finish in eccentric make-up, which was a riot and the act closed strong.

Joe Martini

“Italian Singer, and Comedian. the little fellow with the big voice. Went over very good. Personaly I think the act is only fair. 12 min in 1.

Anna Held, Jr.

(23 mins.) This act was very well received, the man carrying the act through with some songs and comedy bits, while Miss Hold displays some very attractive costumes. Closed to a very good hand.

Fischer & Gilmore

(14 mins.) A singing comedy turn by a man and woman. Songs are nicely handled and comedy got a lot of laughs. Did nicely in this spot, closing to a good hand.

Conlin, Steele & Carr

In 1. Time 16. 2 men, 1 woman. A bright line of fooling, patter and songs. Went big.

Once Upon a Time

A lively condensed version of Charlie’s Aunt, with a little singing and introduction to make it somewhat different. Plenty of laughs, attractive girls and generally a satisfactory act. 23 min. full stage.

Stone & Hayes

(14 mins.) A singing and talking turn by a man and woman, the former playing the part of rube. He has a lot of good comedy talk, got a lot of laughs and finished to a good hand, with a good musical number.

Harry L. Webb

19 min. in one. Just about held the spot with a fair line of witticisms and songs. Not an act for a stronger placing on the program. Some scattered applause and closed fairly well.
