Wilkins and Wilkins

The act was sixteen minutes long. A man and a woman sing, dance, and do some comedic talk. They open with cross-fire material, in which the man acts as a feeder for the woman. He exits and she sings a solo. When she does not get a reaction out of the crowd on the first verse, she yells “Can’t you hear me?” and sings the second verse much more loudly. The man does a pantomime bit in which he pretends to search for a bird. He then does some eccentric dancing. The woman wears an unsightly brown suit and proceeds to take the jacket off to reveal a white shirtwaist underneath.

Saden O’Brien and Co.

This rathskeller act was fifteen minutes long. Three men sing as straight, Italian, and blackface characters.

Kane and Barry

The act was twenty minutes long. Miss Kane opens with an old-fashioned song after the man explains that she will try to do something other than worn-out ragtime. The man does a “cissy” bit on the piano stool. Kane then does a comedy song in which she asks male members of the audience what they would do in certain situations.
