Fern & Davis

20 min. “A Nightmare Revue.” Here is a corking good song and comedy novelty by a man and woman. It is entirely different from anything we have seen in other team offerings with plenty of action, a lot of good laugh-producing comedy and good songs well done. The act is elaborately fitted with special stage setting and the girl wears several decidedly effective gowns. It was a big applause winner, kept the house in laughter and closed to a big hand.

Nora Bayes

46 min. After doing three-quarters of an hour on a warm afternoon and following the big riot ahead of her, Miss Bayes had the house asking for more at the finish of a half dozen numbers. Her songs are all new and certainly the best lot she has ever used in vaudeville. Not only did comedy numbers strike the mark, but she really moved her audience to tears with the way she and Irving Fisher sang a soldier song. Then she came right back with another patriotic number that finished her act in a tumult of applause. Miss Bayes has wonderful support in Mr. Fisher who has a splendid voice. Harry Akst did his share at the piano. This is undoubtedly the bet act Miss Bayes has ever done and she will make them talk about it.

The Great Mankichi & Company

Present “A Japanese Classic” – two men and a woman; umbrella, top spinning, etc. and comedy work with the barrel; beautiful stage setting, drop of silk worked in Japanese designs. 12 min. full stage; went good.

Adele Rowland

Assisted at the piano by Sidney Franklin. 14 minutes in one. Plush drapery. Miss Rowland’s songs are all new to Boston. It is a welcome relief to play a singing comedienne who is not using published numbers that have been “plugged” to death in every picture house in town. Judging by the way Miss Rowland went over Monday night, the audience felt the same way about it.

Four American Beauties

Four men; in “HUMOR and Harmony” eccentric make-up in a harmony singing and comedy act; special set representing a wharf; all good singers; 14 min. full stage. Went big.

The Montana Five

“A Round Up of Mirth and Medley” – four man and a woman; singing and comedy act; dressed in cowboy costumes; stage setting represents a Western prarie [sic] evening – like the above act this went over great; 20 min.

The Red Sox Quartette

While there are no Carusos or Scottis in this organization, the fact remain that they sing a great deal better than people expect them to, and their bits of comedy at the finish of the act got over in great shape. I am also satisfied that they are responsible for a large part of the business that we have up to now and for considerable of our advance sale. 13 Min. in One.

Nellie Nichols

A favorite singing comedienne in Providence, who gets more applause from our audience than Eva Tanguay, Alice Lloyd and all the others combined. 14 Min. in One.

Lee White & George Perry

“Smiling Singers of Smiling Songs” and they surely live up to their billing. A classy act nicely presented. The woman is surely a great comedienne. Going on at 4:30 and 10:30, they hold them and are the applause hit of the show. 18 minutes in one.

Al Herman

18 min. With about the same routine of chatter and a couple of new songs, this fellow was as big a laughing hit as ever on the closing spot on the bill. He made them laugh all the way through and finished to a big hand of applause.
