A young man and a widow elope. A chambermaid finds out and demands a $2 bribe. Only $1.98 can be raised and the two cents must be stolen from a monkey attached to a hand grinder. Miss Countiss played the widow with elaborate modesty and the young man was required to wear a bathrobe only and made no impression.
The jars are three canisters containing the ashes of the female character’s ex-husbands. They do not resemble jars used by crematories. They cause jealousy in a fourth husband and throws them at her near the end. Neither of the players can act.

Miss Tully is miscast as the nurse. She should be more nervous and assertive.
Unexpected visit to a bachelor’s apartment of a relative subject to fits. The bachelor is due at a fancy dress party with a woman selected by a matchmaker. The butler thinks that the date is the relative.

The best hit of the act is Fred Bowman’s character study of the front row enthusiast who is grey haired and old and pays to get smiles from the beauties on stage. Miss Deaves acting is forced.

Cissie is a youngster who has crept out of bed to play with her toys after the nurse has left. She is found and put back to bed. There is a dark change to a setting of an enlarged toy cupboard where all the toys have become real.The toy soilders duel which frightens the child and causes her to cry out. The nurse wakes her and shows he the toys are in the cupboard. Mr. Walton does pantomiming, of which he is very good.
