World & Kingston

25 minutes open and close in 1. Doing their old act and going as well as ever. Miss Kingston introduced a rather novel effect in a mirror shawl, that causes reflections all over the audience. It was used for the first time to-day. Proved quite a novelty but failed to get a hand. Audience seemed rather dazzled.

Trovoollo

19 minutes f.s. In his new act, “The Boston Road Inn.” Made quite an impression here. Everything scored well and he has a lot of good material.

Potts Bros.

Comedy sketch, “Double Troubles.” Went very big. 16 min. full stage.

Edwin Stevens & Co.

26 min. F.S. Act has been escribed before, and the good recommendations were fully justified. One of the classiest and brightest sketches we have ever played, and the best vehicle Stevens has had to show his artistry and versatility. He is, moreover, a favorite here, as was shown by the strong advance hand and the big finish. A1 in every particular.

James Young & Co.

Two men, one woman, in a farcical sketch, “Wanted—A Sister.” The act seemed to gain the attention all through and there were quite a number of laughs. Not a great act but one that answered the purpose and got along very well. Finished fairly strong. Special in 3, 25 minutes.

Brady and Mahoney

14 minutes in 1. “The Hebrew Fireman and the Foreman.” This is a rather quiet act with intermittent laughs and filled the spot fairly well.

Linton & Laurence

In “The Piano Store.” Quite an entertaining little comedy skit that apparently pleased, although it wasn’t a great hit. Got along very nicely, however, and were thoroughly satisfactory. Finished fairly strong. 17 minutes, C.D.F.

Tom Nawn & Co.

23 min. F.S. “When Pat Was King.” This act has been described here before and lived up to its high recommendations. The sketch is in Miss Marble’s usual vein, combining character comedy with a bit of fanciful and supernatural. Tom Nawn is a great favorite here and received a good advance hand. Sketch held the interest right up to the smashing good finish. The star is well supported, Miss Appelle making a mighty pretty picture as “The Norse Princess.”

O’Brien Havel & Co.

23 min. F.S. This is a very amusing sketch, and played with lots of life and ginger. Roars of laughter throughout. Closed big.

3 Richardsons

“The New Pupil.” These people have a very amusing comedy sketch, the member doing the hair-lipped country girl won many laughs from today’s audience. A good act for the smaller houses and would get by very nicely in an early spot. Fancy in 3. Time 18 min.
