“The Order of the Bath.: 17 min. F.S. This act was presented here before and made a hit, as it did today. It is full of bright lines and clean humor. Received applause and closed well.
17 min. F.S. This act has not been seen here before. It scored a winner. Contains many bright lines and the cleverness with which the unsophisticated “country girl” relieves the city chap of his valuables is very clever and the climax is logical. Scored A1 with our holiday crowd.
19 min. F.S. This sketch fulfills its recommendations. It is a good laugh although not enough of the baseball spirit evident. Miss Wisdom is the star of the act and got everything there was in the situations. Closed well.
20 minutes f.s. Comedy sketch, “A Reno Divorce.” Miss Lawrence just closed with Francis Wilson’s company but has long been a favourite in stock in this city. I am free to confess that it is this fact that gets her by on the present occasion. The farce is a long drawn out and I should hate to have it take its chances with others of a similar character.
Man & woman. In a comedy skit entitled “The Laugh Trust” – Talking, and plenty of laughter on their part, but little with the audience — close with a song. Went very weak. 10 min. in one.
In the sketch that he has played for us not the third time but was received with uproarious laughter throughout. 34 minutes full stage.
In a very good comedy sketch entitled “I Heard—-” which Mr. Decker played in his usual clever style, his support being adequate. 20 minutes full stage.
27 min in full stage spec. A novel sketch and a good cast. Some great laughs and closed to a big hand.
(20 mins.) An excellent comedy sketch played by two people. It is a William Hodge short of playlet and very well done. Made a very good impression.
Present a variety comedy skit, entitled “Still and Non-sense.” Opens with singing and dancing; then to juggling clubs, hats, balls, etc. This act received plenty of laughs all thro their act and a good hand at finish. 12 min. in one.
