Hal Davis and Inez Macauley

In Will Cressy’s sketch “One Christmas Eve” a comedy sketch with some very funny situations, got them from the start and went very good all the way through. 21 min. full stage.

Mr. & Mrs. Jimmy Barry

In “At Hensfoot Corners.” This well known act got along very nicely, although they didn’t go as big as on former occasions. The reason for this is undoubtedly that they are back too soon. However, they had no trouble in holding the audience all the way through, and the act must be credited with having a good strong finish. They will no doubt prove all right during the week. 22 minutes, special in 5.

Chip & Marble

26 min. F.S. Third presentation here. Advance applause. New scenery and costumes and very effective. Introduced some new songs, well received and encored. A very dainty and artistic act that went better than ever before. Closed big.

Royal Tracey & Co.

In a sketch called “Nerve.” The sketch is quite good and got many laughs. I don’t particularly care for Mr. Tracey’s work; however the act is a good one for the money. 20 min. F.S.

Sam Mann & Company

In “The New Leader”—32 minutes full stage. Mann is a splendid comedian, and the sketch is a big laughing hit.

Florence Modena & Co.

In “When Grains Meets Sod.” This is a comedy sketch by Mrs. Gardiner Crane with 4 people. Story is mildly amusing but act in its present form will never land in the headline class. The finish is laughable but the act drags in spots and needs considerable quickening and the elimination of the German porter. Fcy in 3, divided set. Time 21 min.
