Butler Haviland and Alice Thorton

Comedy sketch. “A Question of Policy.” 17 minutes, special set in 4. This team is well dressed, work in an attractive act, and succeed in getting in laughs, but their material is just about what it has been for several sessions. (Columbus)

Sam Liebert & Co. in “The End Of The World”

(30 mins.) The revival of this old sketch furnishes vaudeville with a very good character comedy play and it is very well done by this company. Got a lot of laughs and while it is a big long held the audiences’ attention from start to finish.

Callagher & Martin

(17 mins.) A very good singing and talking comedy sketch by a boy and girl. They have a good line of material, handle it well and got a lot of laughs, Close with a song and dance that took them off to a good hand. Held this spot very nicely.

Eva Taylor & Co.

21 min. F.S. Novel comedy sketch with a good punch at the finish. Went pretty well.

Norton & Wilson

In an up-to-the-minute Comedy skit– man and woman; comedy singing and talking; special drop; 12 min.; went good.

Mrs Gene Hughes

(21 mins.) in “When He Came Back” — This sketch played here about a year ago and it repeated very well getting plenty of laughs and finishing very strong.

Charley Grapewin & Anna Chance

In “Jed’s Vacation” (17 mins.) This act repeated very well for us, getting a liberal amount of laughs and closing to a very good hand. Grapewin has changed some of the lines but otherwise the sketch is the same as last season.

Solly Ward & Company

(27 mins.) A big laughing hit from start to finish, well played and one of the best comedy sketches we have had this season. Kept the audience laughing and closed very strong.

Harry Holman & Company

in “My Daughter’s Husband” (16 mins.) This act repeated very well for us. It is a very good comedy sketch, well played and got a lot of laughs. Finished to a good hand.

Grade Huff in “Just Like A Man”

(20 mins) A new sketch shown here for the fist time and got over fine. A very good comedy, written along different lines than usual and was very well played. Got a lot of laughs, held close attention and closed to a big hand.
