The sketch entitled “The Reform Candidate” ran for twenty-seven minutes on the full stage.
Arbuckle plays the boss politician of a town who campaigns against a reform candidate played by Sidney S. Cushing. The reform candidate soon finds himself “in a box” and has to seek out the Boss’s help.
“Holding a Husband” sees a husband fooling his wife into thinking he had an important meeting of the Broker’s Club. He uses the meeting as an excuse to miss the ball and play poker instead.

The plot revolves around Mrs. Carleton Jones, who recently passed the bar examination and is her state’s first female attorney. She is married to another attorney, Carleton Jones.
She helps her maid who wishes to receive the money owed to her by her former employer, who is a suffragette.
Ann Crewe was forceful as Mrs. Carleton Jones and wore a beautiful gown. Walter Andrus played Mr. Carelton Jones affably.

The scene of the skit represents an early morning rehearsal, with the girls arriving late, offering various comedy excuses. One young woman who blamed her automobile made an impression, while another “sister” act looking for an engagement had a brief but meaty argument with the stage manager (Mr. Harrison).
