Evers Wisdom Company

Sketch—“Baseballitis”—2 men and one woman. Double set—two rooms—18 minutes.

Felix & Barry Girls

15 minutes f.s. close in one. Held the spot in great shape with the comedy.

Mrs. Gardner Crane

In her farce “The Little Sunbeam” a very good farce, full of some very funny situations, with a good story running all the way through. Went good. 29 min. in one and a half. Own act.

Jolly, Wild & Co.

Two men, one woman in a variety skit, “First Aide to the Melancholy.” The woman does a “straight”, one man comedy, the other an English “Johnnie.” The work consists of singing, talking and piano playing, all of which is good. The act held the attention from the beginning and made a most favorable impression throughout. Finished strong. 18 minutes, conservatory in One.

Dolan & Lenharr

In “Some Mind Reader.” This is a comedy sketch built around the idea of the feminine mind reader and her manager. The act is an excellent laughing number all the way through. Dolan impersonates an investigator, supposedly a member of the audience, who gets into the story for the purpose of seeing whether or not the mind reading is the real article. There are a lot of comedy lines and laughs galore. A peculiar feature of the act is that the audience thoroughly enjoys it and yet does not really know whether it is a “kid” or a real exhibition of second sight. Went big all the way through and finished strong.  25 minutes, palace in 3.

Maclyn Arbuckle & Co.

“The Welcher.” 25 min. F.S. Big advance hand. All the good things that have been said about Mr. Arbuckle and Mr. Davis’ play have been thoroughly justified with our audience today. The interest was sustained right through and the alternate humor and pathos won the house completely. Arbuckle is a thorough master of this big type of character, and the part of the little girl was admirably assumed by Miss Redmond. A very strong feature for any bill. Closed with many curtain calls.

Charles Aheard Troupe

4 men, 1 woman. 2 scenes F.S. with chance of special back drop. The new act follows somewhat the general plan of the old one, but there is so much new material introduced that the entire impression is novel. It is screamingly funny and proved a great hit. Time 11.

Joseph Hart’s “Honor Among Thieves.”

This act was originally presented at a Lamb’s Gambol, hence is now being presented in vaudeville by Impresario Hart. With the possible exception of “Dinkelspiel’s Xmas” it is one of the best novelties Joe has put over and it registered a substantial hit today. Four men, each one of them crooks and trying to make their companies think they are honest are finally caught with the goods. The act is just one hearty laugh all the way through and there is not the slightest thing to give the slightest offence. An act ought to make a hit in New York and the other big cities. Splendidly acted and well put on. Own set in 3. Time 20 min.

Four Thornes

“An Up-town Flat.” One of the oldest acts in vaudeville and the same big laughing hit that it has always been. Plain chamber in 3. Time 20 min.
