Geo. Howell & Co.

19 min. “The Red Fox Trot.” This is a very good comedy sketch employing five characters and takes a dig at the present day dancing craze. It is a very well written story and splendidly played and a ‘Fox Trot’ number is worthy of a big hand. Sketch was very well liked.

Tom Lewis & Co.

19 min. “Brother Fans.” The sketch is a baseball story by Tom Barry and was published in magazine form. Lewis is a well known star, formerly of George Cohan’s company. He plays the role of an American baseball fan in London and fits the comedy character into a dramatic playlet. The sketch has some tense moments, but there is always a comedy line to lighten it up and it finished to a good hand. Lewis closes with a monologue hit that kept the audience in a roar of laughter and is a gem as an encore.

Fisher & Green

22 min. Open in one., close F.S. ‘The Partners.’ Very good comedy sketch patterned along the lines of ‘Potash and Perlmutter,’ but with a different story. Bright lines and comedy well handled by the two men who are clever character comedians. Act also employs a girl. Was a strong hit.

‘Cranberries’

20 min. A very pretty and well written sketch by Everett Ruskay, employing two men and a girl. It is a comedy on high finance with some clever lines and bits of business which are handled to a nicety by the trio. It held close attention from start to finish and was warmly applauded.

Mason & Keeler

28 mi. Their new sketch, “Married,” is undoubtedly one of the best comedy playlets introduced in vaudeville in a long time. It is a well written story of an entirely different theme than usual, with plenty of good comedy lines, lots of action and a surprise finish. Three characters are employed, the third being a burglar. It scored from start to finish and closed with a big laugh and solid applause.

John Henshaw & Grace Avery

In a singing and talking comedy skit “Strangers in a Strange Flat”—24 Min. Full Stage. Can close 6 in one. Two thoroughly capable and artistic performers, offering a skit brim full of rich comedy and scoring a succession of laughing hits.

Thomas Hoier & Company

Comedy sketch “The Ice Man”—16 Min. Full Stage. Certainly made the people laugh; so it must be good.

John C. Rice & Sally Cohen

In their new act “The Path of the Primroses.” This sketch is decidedly different from anything these people have given in vaudeville. It is a decided novelty and gave splendid satisfaction. 24 Min. open F.S. Close in One.

Leonard & Whitney

Man and woman, comedy sketch “Duffy’s Rise” an old time sidewalk conversation act elaborated on and made into a sketch and a scream from start to finish 18 minutes full stage, interior.
