The Althea Twin Sisters

This is a singing, dancing, and acrobatic act of about the same calibre [sic] of the usual “sister” teams. It is no better nor no worse than the average act of the kind, and, while I have never thought that our audiences cared particularly for this sort of an act, it is all right once in a while. 9 min., full stage.

The Fairbanks Twins with Richard Keene

Special and full stage, 23 minutes. These girls do a nice little act. While they do not show any special talent they are young and pretty, pleasing and not spoiled yet.

Duncan Sisters.

Olio in one, 23 minutes. It was hard sledding for the girls. They work hard and are fairly successful.

Wilton Sisters

20 min, in “One” These girls went just as big as ever A decided hit.

Beaumont Sisters

(18 mins.) Being well known in Philadelphia these two women were cordially received  and did nicely with their talk and songs, finishing strongly with the old-time numbers, which they invited the audience to sing with them.

White Sisters

15 min in 1. Probably two of the tiniest girls we have ever played in this house and they certainly are clever and went over big.

Beaumont Sisters

15 min in 3. Held interest and their closing number put them over to a good hand.

Lorraine Sisters

Assisted by a man at the piano who also plays a xylophone number very badly. The girls are dancers who would be acceptable in the average musical comedy chorus. We have dozens who dance better. Regardless of what it costs them to operate the act isn’t worth over $250 over the footlights. 14 minutes full stage.

The Amaranth Sisters

Two young women in a succession of dances, some hand balancing and iron jaw work is done by two men who appear as pages. A hit in the closing position. 10 minutes full stage.

McConnell Sisters

(20 mins.) Everything in this set shows real class and it is one of a refined signing turns we have played. The girls have good voices and sing well together. The dressing and staging is of the highest order.
