Chassino

F.S. Time 12. Woman assistant. A genius in shadow picture making. Big hit.

Mr. & Mrs. Gordon Wilde

In their well known shadowgraph act. This year they are assisted by their daughter who sings a couple of songs and does a little dancing, tending to let down the act somewhat. The shadowgraph work however, goes off as well as usual. 14 min full stage.

Chassino

Shadowgraphist. 12 minutes f.s. This is a first rate opening act. One that would make good very far down on the bill.

The Joannys

This is decidedly an improvement over all shadowgraphic acts that we have ever had. The effect of throwing stereopticon slides and colored lights in conjunction with the shadows is very effective as is the novelty of throwing the shadows into the auditorium. The people have very pleasant personalities and all in all it is a splendid act, worthy of a more important place on the bill. 12 minutes full stage.

Rudinoff

Shadowgraph, Whistling & Smoke picture. Went very good. 20 min in 3.

Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Darrow

3 shows. 14 min. full stage. A very pretty, artistic “sight” act. The smoke and sand pictures are interesting, and the shadowgraphs at the finish are amusing, especially to the juvenile patrons. In its class, it ranks with the best three-show acts in the business.

Chassino

Shadowgraphist. 10 minutes in three. The work of this gentleman is the best of the kind I have ever seen. He does better work with his feet than other people in this same line can do with their hands. There is lots of comedy in the act and I feel sure it draws us some money.

Mons. Chassino

GHR 2. This is Chassino’s first appearance in New York, he being billed very strong, naturally received a reception. He is a shadowgraphist of the highest rank and the only real artist in this line we have ever played. Every shadow was a scream. He made a tremendous hit. Full stage, 13 mins. 2 shows.

Chassino

Shadowgraphist and silhouettist. This act is altogether too good for this spot, but there was no help for it. Aside from its value it is not the right sort of act to open the show with because of the dark house. The ushers can not see to seat the patrons. Very good act and good value for the money. Palace in 5. 15 minutes. Chassio would not close in one as suggested by Mr. Hodgden. He said he had never done it but once and that was for Mr. Jordan in Philadelphia. He said his contract did not call for it and that his stomach was not in the best of condition today so that he did not feel that we should depend on him for more than his usual act. Full stage 15 minutes.

Mon. Chassino

2 shows, 12 min. full stage. This man was making his first appearance in America and little was known about him advance. As a hand and foot shadowgrapher he discounts any entertainer of the kind we have ever had. In fact, he begins where the others leave off. Will stand big billing and make good. Shall keep him two weeks if it can be arranged.
