Magician, 15 in 1. A rather clever palmist and does some good card tricks and proved intensely interesting with his Chinese rings.
20 min. – spec. set – Without question of doubt the real hit of the show. Goldin continues to use his rapid-fire methods, and he has the audience guessing the entire time he is on the stage. He works like grease-lightning and does more in fifteen minutes than most magicians do in a whole evening.
Comedy magician who caught on nicely and gained a lot of laughs. His work is most excellently present and his unique style of executing it had the audience guessing the greater part of the time, and they didn’t seem to know whether to take him as a comedian or a magician. Finally they got on to the fact that he was an excellently clever exponent as both and everything went fine. Proved thoroughly interesting all the way through and finished fairly strong.
17 min. in one. This man has a very engaging personality and his work is certainly very expert. The manner in which he makes coins appear and disappear amazes everybody and his line of talk is full of humor. A mighty good act, and far out of the line of general magic work. Good applause and a strong close with his card tricks.
Known as the Irish Magician. This fellow is quite a clever worker, and in some way or other manages to catch the audience every time. Personally, I don’t like his mannerisms at all, but as long as the audience like him that is all that is necessary, and he certainly always goes very strong in this house. 18 minutes in one.
In, “Magic of the Orient”. Very similar to her other act, “A Night in Japan”, with the exception that she had discarded some of her old scenery, and substituted two new tricks. The act is very neat and makes good with the audience. 26 minutes, full stage.
23 min. F.S. Practically the same act as presented here before. Received considerable applause after each one of her spectacular stunts and close fair. We think she is deserving of a long vacation, as evidently she has played this house too often.
Magician. This man does the usual three a day act, but is not as good as most of the others, owing we have so much of that kind of work unless he is clever the act is not at all cared for as is the case of this act. 18 min. in one, 3 shows.
21 min. F.S., close in one. This man is certainly O.K. with his magical work, making several variations from his act as presented before, and finishing with a levitation act in one. Fox keeps up a running-fire of talk which is amusing and gets laughter and some applause. In fact, the act holds a good spot throughout, and finishes in one very well indeed.
