Alexander, O’Neil & Sexton

14 minutes in 1. Mr. Alexander of this team was formerly with Alexander & Scott. He is a female impersonator, doing about the same routine he did with the old act. The other two boys are clever dancers and have quite a little comedy. The act makes a very good combination and went over very well.

Richards

Female impersonator, 9 min. Full stage, special set. A wealth of beautiful colors and light make a very pretty spectacle, and he is clever as a toe dancer. The act is no better than many another of a similar nature, but it is all done by a man, and so the novelty of it all makes for whatever success the offering received.

Tom Davies Trio

“Motoring in Mid Air.” 10 min F.S. Three men, one dressed as a woman. Same old act, with motor cycles, intended as a “thriller.” About the last time this act or acts like it should be sent to this house. The people here are weary of motoring in mid air, globes of death, and other death-defying thrills. In warming up their motor cycles before the curtain goes up on the act, such a terrific noise is produced that it frightens the audience. Several women left their seats and walked out Sunday night while this noise was going on behind the stage and the curtain was down. From now on we will raise the curtain as the people can see what the noise is. This act came from Pittsburgh, and their apparatus did not reach the theatre until 1:30 Sunday afternoon. As it requires fully two hours to set, to the exclusion of all other acts, it was eliminated Sunday matinee. Too long a jump for an act of this kind, even when railroads are on time and yesterday the act was two hours late in arriving. On account of this act we will be glad when this week is over.

Bothwell Browne

Time 10. Open in 2 special back drop. Close in 4. Special Egyptian interior. Female impersonator. The holiday audience enjoyed the act. However I do not consider nearly as good as that done by Eltingo.

The Great Richards

This is an act that is really too good to open the show, but as the bill was reconstructed after he was booked, it was about the only thing possible. He gives splendid value and was a decided surprise to the audience when he showed them he was a man. He is one of the few acts that some agent has not boasted before now and really, I don’t see how he carries all of his trappings, electrician, etc. with all the salary gets. 10 Min. F.S.

Francis Yates

16 minutes. Female impersonations. Special velvet drops. Full stage. The material Mr. Yates is using is far from being good. His female voice I consider very good and his change to evening clothes, finishing with an Irish song, is done very well, but the act is not a hit and I would not feel like recommending it with his present.

The Great Richards

Singing and dancing, female impersonator, one of the best. Dresses swell. The light effects great. Will draw the women. Big hit 10 minutes special plush set.
