Strickland and Duxesbury

The “rube” character of Strickland was strong in the act. Play old barnyard dance favorites.

Margaret Wycherly

The support accorded her was good and the scenery did much to aid the effect.

R.A. Roberts

Had a little trouble with the lights (the house is to blame, not him)

Christy and Willis

Poor toe dancing and tramp juggling. The man needs to make radical changes to his makeup. “The day of the tramp with filthy clothing has passed. Has some good ideas but works carelessly.

Little Garry Owen and Company

The “company” is a woman who is apparently the boy’s mother. “Precious child” with a “impression of unspoiled childishness.” Act ran long and made him seem exhausted. Came out dressed like a girl at first.

Bertie Fowler

Works with an air of assured sucess. Act is a mix of infancy and inebriety

R.A. Roberts

dressed as hag … his changes are wonderfully made. Other than the hag he offers a “clean cur exhibition of good acting marred a trifle by long speeches”
