Earle & Sunshine

Two Young women with an unusual skit showing methods of girls of past times and present day. Pleased the audience greatly. 16 minutes full stage.

Ma Belle

16 min. After the adverse reports I had on this act from New York, I was agreeably surprised, although the act is not as fast nor as good as it was last season. I do not think Ma Belle has as lively girls as last year. While this is an act that never calls for much applause in a house, it seemed to interest the audience and went over fairly well. Needs more speed which Ma Belle has promised to get for me during the week.

Alexander Kids

Two girls (little). Sing two or three songs and do all kinds of dancing; one of them does a little acrobatic work at the finish. A smaller child walks across the stage dressed in English flags. 13 minutes.

3 Jordan Girls

One in one, olio drop. Two very pretty and shapely girls assisted by a woman. Open with song in one then draw off to wire work in full stage. 10 minutes, full stage.

Those Three Virginia Girls

Three girls in southern costume, sing popular and old time melodies. Act opens 5 min. in Olio and closes 9 min. full stage with special drop representing a southern homestead.

The Alexander Kids

Three girls, ages 2, 4, 5. Full stage. 14 minutes. Hit. Singing; fancy, Russian, Texas Tommy, and modern dances. These children are very clever, doing the modern dance as well as many older people.

Miss Morley and the McCarthy Sisters

Miss Morley and the McCarthy Sisters also put over a big-sized hit with their singing turn in which the two sisters gathered in a big share of the laurels with their close harmony singing.

Little Clara Kirwin

this is a little Providence girl who sings a couple of coon songs and one other comic song, and on account of her local acquaintance is all right for us. I would hardly recommend her for the rest of the circuit. 10 min. in one, 3 shows.

Blonde Typewriters

(Gus. Edwards’) with Johnnie Stanley: 20 min, F.S. close in 1. 2 shows. On at 9:06. This act has been much improved since it was here last summer. It works smoother, and Johnny Stanley infuses a lot of original fun into it. The girls sing and dance well making pretty picture. More than that, the publisher’s advertising is not so eternally obvious. The finish of the act, where the girls’ faces are seen through the portholes of a steam yacht, got a big hand, followed by two curtain calls.
