25 minutes f.s. close in one. One of the best girls acts we have played, neatly dressed, and lively. Went in good shape.
One of the daintiest and prettiest acts on the circuit. The girls are brimful of personality and each number is put over in great shape. One of the hits of the bill.
14 min. F.S. Second appearance here. Advance applause on a very pretty scene. Same act as presented here before. Very dainty and interesting, and received liberal applause. Closed well.
(16 mins.) The girls were really the applause hit of the show in the next to closing spot. They are doing about the same routine they have used here in the past, but all their stuff is splendidly done and brought plenty of applause. They closed very strong.
34 min. in 1 Spec. and F.S. Spec. This is a big girl act with pretty settings and lots of nice costumes. There is quite a little comedy in it and it went well for this style act in this house.
(23 mins.) New girl act with seven girls and two men. Old and new songs played up by girls appearing in elaborate costumes. A big flash and went over very well.
Chas. W. Beyer’s 1920 edition of the Petticoat Minstrels. Presenting all the latest fads in minstrelsy. Seven women; two blackface. 24 min.; went good.
A girl act, nine people. Six girls featuring Paulina Perry, late of the “Merry Widow Co.” The act is full of good musical numbers and the girls make three changes of costume. Miss Perry makes a big hit in her solos and altogether the act went very big from the start. 22 min. full stage.
This act consists of three men and eight women. As far as business is concerned it was good today, but I’m warry about the balance of the week — I have I’M mistaken — the show is very poor indeed — no life to it. The girls are sort of fillings. No singers. or dancers. People are knocking the show hard.
