William Ferry

F.S. special effective set. Time 10. Ferry is a clever contortionist who impersonates a frog. He gets a deal of humor out of his work and all around his offering is genuine entertainment. Highly effective in every detail.

Toto Hammer and Company.

Special in four, 7 minutes. Man and woman contortionists. Very good. Special set and costumes. A hit in this spot.

Latina

10 min in 1 – Pretty and graceful woman, who performs a series of physical contortion exercises that form an attractive act. She went very nicely, as has always been the case here, but our people having seen her frequently in the best part of the bill, she could not be expected to go so strong as in cities where she is.

Mlle. Latina

Contortionist. The same act she had previously done and which goes very strongly with our audience, principally upon account of her dainty and neat appearance. I placed the act this week, at Mr. Albee’s suggestion, in one, and turned the platform out under the curtain. It went very well indeed. 10 min.

Ferry

Went big. Contortion act and the best and most elaborately mounted of any ever seen in this city. Ferry’s work great and applauded frequently. Carries three drops and uses special light effects. Costumed in the guise of a frog. Full Stage. Time 12 minutes.

El Salto

Contortionist. A young girl who makes a very pretty appearance, has neat apparatus, and does a very clever little act. If necessary could be put on later on the program and make good. 8 M. Full Stage.

Pantzer Trio

Contortionates. They should cut out the piano playing of Mrs. Pantzer, which is absurd. Their set is exceptionally finished in every respect, the two girls being very graceful and pleasing in appearance, and the man wonderfully clever with good comedy. Full stage; 13 minutes.

Ferry

The Human Frog. This is about as good a contortion and as well presented a novelty of this kind as ever I saw. Splendid make-up and attractive scenery and accessories. Could hold a much more important spot with case. Great value for the money. 11 Min. F.S.

El Salto

A young girl in a rather pretty and graceful contortion act. There is nothing particularly startling about it, but it is one of those neat acts that always make good. 10 minutes; full stage.

Pantzer Trio

GNH-2. Two girls and one man in a contortion act; one of the girls and the man making the best contortions that I ever saw in my life. There are assisted by a woman who plays the piano and who is somewhat superfluous, although she is not on but a few minutes and helps to fill up the stage. An exceptionally clever act. 15 minutes; full stage.
