13 min. This young fellow has a novel idea for his piano act. All the numbers are descriptive and introduced with talk, touching on comedy enough to get some laughs. One dramatic number on the European war was a big hit and he closed strong with a medley, which won him several extra bows and a short speech.

Musical act. One does comedy, made up as a Messenger Girl, line of talk is very good, introduce child at finish (girl) who plays the bells, went big, 15 minutes in one.

Ray Fern and Marion Davis

17 minutes in two. Special drapery. The old Vanderbilt and Moore act, songs, costumes and jokes, done by a clever team who put the material over almost as well as the original people. A good, lively turn, helped greatly by the pleasing personalities of the entertainers. Just the sort of act to wake things up this spot, particularly after Hirschel Hendler had sung about the horrors of war.

Arthur Deagon

21 min. This well known musical comedy comedian uses character songs and talk for his monologue. His songs got over in good shape through clever handling, an operatic medley with comedy lines being a big applause winner. For an enchore [sic], he did a burlesque speech with a bit of acrobatics and went off to good applause.

“The Dream Pirates”

Eight girls one man in full stage special set 15 min. A very good minature [sic] musical comedy with good singing and a very good comedian. About the best girl act we have played. Went very well.

“The Four Husbands”

With Ray Raymond and Florence Bain and Company of 30 people. 48 minutes full stage. Special set. This biggest and classiest musical comedy we have ever played. Held the audience seated to the finish and went over strong. The production and dresses are beautiful, the comedy and music thoroughly up to standard. A first-class ensemble act.

May Naudain

15 min. Accompanied by Anatol Friedland. This young girl has considerable reputation as a musical comedy star. She sang several songs accompanied by Mr. Friedland at the piano and he played a medley of his own composition after her first number. She makes a very attractive appearance and has a pleasing voice. The act scored a good sized hit.

Trovato

27 min. in one. This man certainly made a hit today. He is not only an expert violinist, but infuses an immense amount of ginger and comedy into his work, making a handsome appearance and carrying the audience right with him, it would be difficult to find a more ideal vaudeville act than Trovato. He merits all the applause accorded him. Compelled to give two encores.

Wells, Horworth and Moore

13 minutes in one. Olio drop. Two men and a girl with piano, songs and a little talk. The comedian with this turn is clever. He gets the act over. The other two are merely feeders. A lively turn that woke things up in good shape.

Emmett J. Welch & Co.

“A Minstrel Revision.” 22 min. This is a local act, all the members of the company, including a singing quartette, two dancers and two end-men, being Philadelphians. They gave an old time minstrel first part, beautifully staged and dressed, with a routine of good songs and jokes. The vocal program consists of popular songs, and a ballad by Mr. Welch. Act went over in great shape and finished to an excellent hand.
