Mullen & Francis

(16 mins.) Being a local act this couple got a very big reception, but also registered a big applause and laughing hit on their merits. They have a lot of good “nut” material and went over in great shape.

Hellen & Hunter

21 min. in 1. Although this couple are using about the same material as when seen here last, they got lots of laughs and closed to a big hand.

Crawford & Broderick

(14 mins.) This act repeated splendidly and we consider it one of the best comedy teams of its kind that we play. It was a big laugh winner and closed strong.

Briscoe & Rauh

(17 mins.) Comedy of this act is poor and brought them little. The man discloses a pleasing voice and they closed strong after getting along only fairly well.

Hawthorne & Cool

(17 mins.) Got a fair amount of laughs with their “nut” comedy, which is about as exaggerated as anything we have ever played. Much of their material, however, needs censoring and many of their jokes are very old.

Jack Wilson

25 min. in 1 and 2. Wilson worked along his regular lines and was assisted by Miss Gordon, Vera Beresford and Frank Griffith. Got a lot of laughs and closed to a big act.

Kane & Herman

22 min. in 1. This act was one continual laugh, and closed to a big hand.

Santos & Hays

(17 mins.) This act proved a big laugh winner and held down this position in great shape. They handle their material cleverly and not only got laughs but liberal applause.

Emily Darrell

(15 mins.) This act repeated very well for us. About the same line of material as last season and it got a lot of laughs for her. Closed with a recitation about a dog that brought a good hand.

McMaron & Chappell

(16 mins.) The old McMahon & Chappell act with a new man. He has a lot of good material and gets some laughs with it, although he handles it very slow and needs speeding up.
