One man is the comedy Irishman and the other is the straight. They open with crossfire talk in which they argue over whether or not the comedian can sing. The comedian then directs the orchestra to accompany him as he sings off key. After a pause, he sings an Irish ballad in a good voice. They then come together for several duets.
Evans and Vidocq

Evans and Vidocq have a routine of talk and songs. Vidocq performs as the straight in white face and Evans acts in blackface. They use a song to open and close the act.
