Frank Wilson

A good comedy line of talk and clever songs combined to make this offering worth while. In one.

Bailey & Cowan

(20 mins.) They have almost entirely rebuilt their act into a real comedy and song production, as well as a novelty and it was a big hit in the next to closing spot. They have some good songs and a lot of good music and they put over all their numbers with a lot of “pep”. A big applause hit from start to finish.

Daphne Pollard

(15 mins.) Just as big a laughing hit as when she first played here last summer. Doing the same routine of songs and getting big laughs and applause with each one. Closed very strong.

Moore & Jayne

(20 mins.) This act did very well for us, Moore is a clever comedian and has good material. His associate makes an excellent appearance, has a good singing voice and make a capable foil for Moore’s comedy.

Fisher & Gilmore

(19 mins.) Comedy singing and talking turn by a man and woman. Their singing helps considerably and that got a lot of laughs with their rube comedy talk.

Downey & Claridge

In “Wait and See.” Man and woman. Open in one with dancing and singing by woman; then go to full stage with singing and dancing, comedy bicycle and roller skates. This act received plenty of laughs all through act and a good hand at finish.

Al Herman

Just as big a laughing hit as ever in this house where he has played often and is very popular. Has some new stuff and a couple of good songs, helped with a boy in one of the boxes. Closed strong.

Spencer & Williams

(17 mins.) Man and woman comedy singing and talking. Former handles his comedy for good laughs and has a lot of catchy lines. Girl makes nice appearance and the act was very well liked.

Janet of France

(18 mins.) With Charles Hamp – Comedy singing and talking act. Man and woman. Girl carries most of the comedy through flirtation talk and song. Man at piano. Rather talky, but got laughs and pleased.

Watson Sisters

(27 mins.) Made a very satisfactory next to closing act with their comedy and songs. They have made a few changes since we last played the act but had no trouble in holding this spot.
