Miss Leona Thurber and Harry Madison

Well known comedy, “On a Shopping Tour.” Material remains the same as before. Opened a little tame but Mr. Madison’s eccentric dancing gets the laughs and they finished to a strong hand. Sixteen minutes in 1.

Crouch & Welsh

12 min. full stage. A very good fast knockabout dancing act, containing plenty of comedy.

Morton & Moore

15 min. in one. They began rather slowly, the fun being a little too much on the burlesque order, but the audience woke up to it when they got to their eccentric dancing which is exceptionally good. Brought the act up to good finish with an encore.

Chadwick Trio

20 minutes. Interior. Close in one. The comedy of Mr. and Mrs. Chadwick is about the worst I have ever seen. The girls with her eccentric make-up and dancing make the act a big hit, being compelled to take bows at every performance.

McDevitt, Kelly & Quinn

(22 mins.) In addition to their local value this trio did very well with their comedy and dancing, the latter being especially good. They are doing their familiar “Piano Mover” act. Closed to a good hand.

Dugan & Raymond

(23 mins.) Got over very well, but following Dugan & Raymond was just a bit too hard for them and a change after the first performance improved this. Much of the material has been used for a long while but it got a fair amount of laughs and with the dancing the act did very well.

Masters & Kraft

(12 mins.) These boys did very well with their comedy dancing. They also do some talking which is only fair. Their dancing, however, is very good and they finished to a big hand.

“Putting It Over”

(30 mins.) Full of “pop” and a big applause winner. The boys work fast and inject a lot of comedy, and gave a speedy performance all the way through. Their dancing is especially good and they finished to a riot of applause, taking four curtains.

Mc.Cormick & Mellen

Two men with some rather weak comedy and singing and some very good eccentric acrobatic dancing. Quite a good number two act. 10 minutes, full stage.

Wilson & Larson

(6 mins.) These boys did all that could be expected of them in the closing spot following the Rooney act. They open with dancing and later go into comedy and acrobatics. Did very well and got a liberal hand.
