James Diamond & Sibyl Brennan

14 min. This act was nicely placed to give the show a big comedy start, which it did. Their “Niftynonsense,” which includes talk, songs and some eccentric dancing had the audience pleased start to finish and they closed to a big hand.

Cross & Josephine

19 min. With a program of new dances and numbers, this popular couple put over a good size applause hit. The man introduces several minutes of comedy talk which got over with good results. They finished with a variety of steps which took them off to a good hand.

Sam & Kitty Morton

17 min. This old time team put over a good sized laughing and applause hit in the next-to-closing position of the vaudeville bill. They used the same act they did here on their last visit and for a finish introduced the two younger children, Martha and Joe. The family was given a big hand at the finish of a neat dancing number.

Clark & Hamilton

34 min. Their act called “A Wayward Conceit” is a conglomeration of buffoonery and burlesque bits, getting results through the peculiar handling of the comedy by the man. The girl acts simply as a feeder through the first part of the act but later introduces a toe dance. For a finish they do a picturesque song number which went over for a big hand and the act scored a good sized hit.

Bennet & Richards

Blackface comedians with a surprise opening and eccentric dancing of a unique kind of one of the men. These two features got the act over in first-class shape. 17 minutes. Open full stage. 3 minutes, close in one. 14 minutes.

Mosconi Brothers

The Mosconi Brothers are supposed to give us a new act. They are giving two new dances in fantastic costumes, which mean nothing at all, presented with quite an elaborate drop which adds nothing to their work. They finish with their old Charlie Chaplin and man and woman comedy dance which went very well indeed. I would rather have the old act. 8 minutes in one and a half.

Fred Whitfield and Marie Ireland

17 minutes in one. Special drop. This act changed places with Arthur Deagon Monday night. In the afternoon they followed the World Dancers, and Dingle’s dancing killed the eccentric dancing of Miss Ireland and Lew Murdock. Monday night, separated from the other dancers, they put over a comedy hit, holding the spot in good shape.

Billy Schoen & Elizabeth Mayne

The man appears as sort of a refined comedian and the girl of the present day chorus girl type, in an act of talking and singing an a little dance step at the finish. Not very much of an act in my mind, and doesn’t get very far with the audience. 17 minutes in one.

Al Lydell And Bib Higgins

20 minutes in one. Special drop. This is the Lydell, Rogers & Lydell act with a new setting and a new twist. Lydell does his old man character, and Bob Higgins is the foil, as a country barber. Held the spot in good shape and closed well with their eccentric dancing. A first-class comedy act for next-to-closing position.

“Tango Shoes”

21 min. Three men and two women in a big comedy dancing number. A lecturer invites a committee from the audience to wear the tango shoes to make them dance and the dancers are four very old persons and one extra large woman, and the dancing contest gives the act a finish that kept the audience in a roar of laughter. Closed strong.
