Whirlwind dancers. I hardly consider the set they are now doing as good as their old one. They attempt a lot of comedy which does not go. 30 min. full stage, can close in one. 2 shows.
Tom and Laura Harris
This act will be all right if they had a little stronger comedy element in it. The man reads his lines much better than the average vaudeville performer, and the young girl is a very clever dancer, but the trouble, is, that there is 15 minutes of dialogue that is almost absolutely without comedy before the dancing comes in, and on that account makes it a little bit dreary. I shall only play that act this week at present. 22 minutes, open full stage, close in one.
Burke, Walsh and Nana
17 mins. Open Street in 1- Centre Door Fancy in three – Close in 1. A comedy talking act with dancing interspersed. Although the talk is of small time caliber it provokes some laughs. However, their dancing is very good and they finished very well.
Harry & Denis Du For
15 min. The boys are excellent steppers and their dancing went over big. They also got laughs on their comedy talk although it could stand freshening up. Act very well liked and closed to a good hand.
Rome & Guat
(11 mins.) Another local turn and a big laughing hit in the next to closing spot. Their eccentric dancing is a big factor in putting the act over and it closed to a big hand.
Wayne & Warren
(21 mins.) A very good comedy talking and dancing act by a man and woman. Open with a lot of slang talk which got them laughs and finished with some eccentric dancing that proved a riot. A first class comedy act in one.
Caits Bros
12 mins. The stepping of these two boys carry them through as a very good applause winner. Use some comedy talk for an opening, getting some laughs. Finished very strong with their dancing.
James Doyle & Evelyn Cavanaugh
17 min. A new combination that has given vaudeville a classy dancing turn with some very good comedy talk and all their material is well handled. Very good looking turn and brought big returns.
Burns & Lynn
These people have got completely away from their old act of neat dancing and have now a number of comedy dances with a little talking interspersed. A good act. 11 minutes in one.
