“The Love Race”

(30 mins.) Just a flash with several principals and a good-looking bunch of girls. Nicely staged and dressed. A little drawn out at times  but the comedians work with snap and the dance numbers are particularly good. It is a good-looking girl act and did very well.

Handers & Millis

(13 mins.) These boys scored a big comedy hit with their eccentric comedy and dancing. They have some new stuff and get all that is possible out of it.

Clifford & Burke

19 min. in 1. These boys got the crowd very strong this afternoon. Their line of humor is better than ever, and, of course, the songs and grotesque dancing got a big hand. Laughter and applause throughout and a strong finish.

Herman Timberg

(14 mins.) He was the applause hit of the show. His comedy brought big results and he as a riot with his dancing. Closed very strong.

Avey & O’Neill

(11 mins.) The dancing finish helped put these boys over to a good sized hit. Up to the time they started dancing, however, they got very little with their comedy talk.

Keene & Williams

Comedy Talking & Dancing. The comedy in this act seemed to hit this audience in the right spot, and went big from the start. 21 min in special drops on 1 & 2.

Bert Stoddard

Monologue & Musician. A good comedy small, mostly dancing. Handsome stage setting in 4. This act did not get over very good Thursday afternoon, a little to high class for the patrons of this theatre. 17 min.

Dotson

(16 mins.) One of the biggest applause hits we have had in the house in a long time and ought to be a riot on any bill and capable of holding a good spot. He is not only a wonderful dancer but a clever comedian and had the house in a roar.

Sidney & Townley

(15 mins.) This is just an ordinary comedy singing and talking act by a man and woman until the finish when they put over an eccentric dance that took them off to a big hand.

De Daven & Nice

In “Mulligan and Mulligan From the West”. These two chaps have a very clever satire on vaudeville dancing acts which was received with screams of laughter and much applause at the Monday shows. Very good act. 15 min. in one.
