Victoria & Dupree

6 min. Man and woman acrobatics and dancing. Nicely staged and dressed. Good routine of material and all done well. Did very well in the opening spot and is a useful act.

Runaway Four

8 min in 1 and full stage. Fast comedy and acrobatics. Went over very big.

Martell & West

Man and woman in a comedy juggling and acrobatic novelty. Uses hats, balls, plates, etc.; this act went over very light. Very week hand at finish. 9 min. full.

Menetti & Sedelli

In a rough and riotous comedy entitled “Funland”. Two men. Rough tumbling on chairs, tables and stage; received a few laughs thro act – a light hand at finish. 9 min. full.

Claire & Atwood

Man and woman in a comedy acrobatic act which makes a very nice opener. 10 minutes full stage.

The Three Jeanettes

This is a splendid opening act and could be used to close a show. The act somewhat resembles The Gaudamidts, made up of two men as clowns, who do some clever acrobatic work, and a woman, who does some work with dogs and pigeons. They have some clever dogs and the pigeons are introduced in a picturesque manner and some fun is got out of a monkey. Good little act. 8 minutes F.S.

Caron & Herbert

Comedy acro; 12 min, F.S. close in 1. On at 8:14, 2 shows. This is a good act. The athletic part is expert, but the comedy is particularly pleasing to the gallery. The finish where the comedian pretends to jump into the sea-scape curtain pulling it down, disclosing the stage hands behind it, got a big laugh. The work in one with the syphon bottle was also amusing even if hackneyed.

Labakans

Comedy acrobats with the funniest little black and tan terrier I have ever seen in many a day.  An act that is especially valuable for the children and at the tame time is most acceptable to the grown ups.  Could be made a feature in the smaller cities.  8 min. Full stage, 3 shows.

Morris & Morris

Up-to-date quick fire grotesque in ‘Fun On a Broom Handle.’ Two men, both working eccentric. They do talking, dancing and acrobatic work. Their acrobatic work is very good, and they also have some good material. The comedy is very good and they had the audience laughing all the time. Went very well. 13 minutes, full stage. Two shows.

Black & Miller

14 min, F.S. 3 shows. On at 7:08. This is a Philadelphia act and has played us three times, always with success. Miller got his training in the Herrmann Institute in this building. He has had a little trouble getting the right sort of partner, but every time he has made a change it has been for the better. As it is now, the act is very much all right and although we use it as an opener, it could hold a much better spot on the bill. The comedy work of Black is good and his acrobatic work is also O.K. Miller is one of the best somersault acrobats in the business. The people liked them and the boys received good applause.
