Blackface comedy. Man and woman. Act a trifle slow at the beginning but warms up in good shape and proved one of the big laughing hits of the bill. Rawls is an excellent blackface comedian and gets his stuff over in good shape while his partner makes an excellent feeder. Would go well in this spot on any bill. 20 min. open in two, close in one. A good, lively juvenile act, holding number two very acceptably. Miss Dooley is particularly a clever singer and dancer, and the other vocalists are clever. Two boys work blackface and get off some good jokes. Considerable applause throughout and closed very well.
Black face comedian. Mr. Hawkins is one of our old standbys and went very well today indeed. 16 min. in one.
