The Whangdoodle Four
The costumes should be brightened up. They make a poor appearance.
Davis and Walker
“A team of colored dancers and singers” the man is the better memeber. His acrobatic dancing is entertaining.
Billy Johnson
“supported by four coloured girls, two of them being very light and the others of the medium shade.” Act opens on a jungle scene with the girls in “inappropriate Oriental garb” and Johnson in brown tights. Military number by the girls, the backdrop is a warscene. Ends with a ballroom scene with Johnson in evening clothes and the girls in multicolored princess gowns.
