Brown and Jones

The act was fourteen minutes long on the full stage. A man and a woman sing and dance. Both wear evening clothes and dance in “the polite ballroom style.” The woman sings an impressive high note.

Marshall and Trimble

The act was twelve minutes long. Marshall and Trimble do songs and “talk”. One man is dressed as a “wench” and the other plays the straight. The straight is also a good comedian. They do a costume number for the finish.

Jerome and Lewis

The act was thirteen minutes long. Jerome and Lewis sing and one does a female impersonation.

Mattie Phillips and “Jungle Kids”

The act was thirteen minutes long on the full stage. A large African American woman sings and dances “violently” and is assisted by three young African American girls. They do cartwheels and eccentric dancing that “works up into a riot of action”.
