Julius Tannen

18 minutes in one. Tannen got a good advance hand, and again proved he is easily one of the best of monologists. Is big favorite here.

Ballerini’s Canine Tumblers

10 minutes F.S. This dumb act went splendidly, and the trainer’s control is best demonstrated by his using no whip nor work of command—animals appear to enjoy their work.

Kelly & Kent

19 minutes in two—close in one, four minutes. These travesty artists in their well known specialty went bigger than ever.

Charles Montrell

20 minutes. F.S. Juggler and comedy assistant. Went well with matinee audience.

Bounding Gordons

10 min. full stage. A good fast acrobatic act that closes the show splendidly.

Ethel Green

20 min. in 1. A pretty girl with a splendid voice, lots of personality and great songs. She was easily the hit of the show, got her audience from the start, held them all through act, and closed with speech after many bows.

White’s Dancing Bugs

12 min. open in 2, close in 1. A good dancing act, but nothing to rave over. Can hold this spot all right, but over-paid at least fifty dollars.

The Kennys

7 min. full stage. Comedy acrobats. Tumbling good, comedy bad. Makes only a fair opening act.

The Camille Trio

8 min. F.S. Typical knockabout comedy acrobatic act, that works very quick. Horizontal bar act, with trick bars, and the falls of all three men are good. Went big as a closing act.

Nora Hayes and Jack Norworth

F.S. Worked 45 min. at matinee and 48 at night, and had to decline encores. Carry own pianist and drops, and have entire act splendidly framed. Open with imitation of old time minstrel show, singing old songs in their own ways. Change to work in one and Norworth’s song, “Months” with local verses, was strong. Miss Bayes was inimitable. Act closed very strong with repeated called for “Kelly”, and she sang one verse in French. Splendid feature, and very strong here.
