Misses Campbell
16 min. With the exception of a couple of song numbers, their act remains the same as they have been doing for the past year or two. This is their third visit here and they have made good each time. They were very well received, won plenty of applause and finished to a good hand.
Claire Vincent & Co.
“The Recoil.” 25 min. A one-act domestic comedy with an old theme written in a new way and well played by three people. There are numerous comedy lines and situations in it, making it a first-rate laugh-winner which kept the audience amused. Finished very strong.
Friscoe
17 min. His selections on the xylophone were a big hit. He plays popular music and catches the pulse of the audience at the very start. Each of his numbers went well and he was forced to give an extra encore.
Karl Emmy & His Pets
15 min. This is one of the prettiest dog acts on the stage. The dogs are very well groomed, make a fine appearance and work freely, so that it is a great act for women to watch. As usual, did very well.
Fink’s Mules
9 min. A very showy animal act with plenty of action. The animals make a good appearance, doing a short routine of tricks and the unrideable mule gives it a big laughing finish.
Santly & Norton
14 min. These boys have been here several times and did as well as usual with their songs. One of them works at the piano and they mix in enough comedy to lighten the act up into a very lively number. Finished strong.
Bessie McCoy
29 min. Having always been a great favorite here, she was given a very cordial reception on her entrance and her act proved a big applause-winner. She is assisted by Thomas Conkey and Henry Coote who were seen to the best advantage in the Period Dance Review. Each of her numbers was very well received and at the finish when she appeared in her Yama Yama costume for a song and dance, she won an additional round of applause, finishing strong.
Crawford & Broderick
13 min. A very good comedy and singing act by a man and woman. The latter handles the comedy, getting splendid results and her partner is an excellent feeder. This is their second visit here and they repeated the good impression made the first time, closing to a very good hand.
Milt Collins
14 min. Startling cold with his monologue on international affairs, he soon had the audience laughing and kept them going. He has a lot of good talk which he makes the most of and finished to a big hand, coming back for a little speech of thanks.
