17 min. His songs went much better than his talk. The latter dragged badly and got only fair results. He also used a very long recitation for an encore which did not help him any. Went only fair.
37 min. “A Pest House.” A low comedy sketch of old style with Imhof in his well known Irish character as the principal. Very well played and a laughing hit from start to finish.
17 min. “Types of Women.” Registered a good sized hit with a variety of character numbers. Makes several changes of costume and is assisted by Jim Rule at the piano. Songs were well liked and she finished to a warm hand.
19 min. “The Gadabouts.” A very good comedy vehicle written by Herbert Ball Winelow. Has some good comedy situations and plenty of action. Well played, was a good laugh-winner and finished strong.
9 min. Young fellow and girl in a very pleasing singing and dance number. Clever steppers and their work is a little different than the usual run. Very well liked.
8 min. A trio of attractive looking girls who do some graceful dancing. One of the girls also sings a war song. Prettily dressed and very well liked in the opening spot.
7 min. Two men and two men in some very showy balancing and strength tricks. They present their act in a novel setting and many of their tricks are new. Did very nicely in the closing position.
14 min. “The Avi-Ate-Her.” They have a good idea for a comedy act with a special drop, but the material falls short of the mark and is not well handled. They got a few laughs on some talk the man used from one of the boxes and his dancing got over, but the act is light and went only fair.
20 min. DeHaven suffered with a heavy cold and worked under a serious handicap but the audience was appreciative and their act went over in good shape. It is elaborately staged and dressed Miss Parker making several changes of attractive costumes. All their songs are new. A very high-class singing and dancing number that was very well liked, despite unfavorable conditions.
16 min. Except for a weak finish, this team kept the audience laughing with their blackface skit. They open with a lot of good comedy talk and do a bit of dancing, all of which got over, but the act slowed up considerably toward the finish.
