Grotesque acrobatic contortion comedy, pantomime and singing sketch. Man and woman. The man is good acrobat, but his comedy is no good. The woman is very good contortionist, and she is a fair singer. This act is all right to open the show. Went fair. 14 minutes, full stage. Three shows.
In ‘The Card Party.’ Two men and two women. Mr. Forsberg is a very clever actor, and he is supported by an excellent company. This is a very good act, and it certainly got good applause at the finish of the act. Went very well. 27 minutes, full stage.
In their dramatic Novelty ‘The Soul and the Heel.’ This is a very good act. Man and woman. The woman is very clever, and the man is also good. They are both good singers, and they have some very good material. They went very big this afternoon, and at the night show I put them next to closing. 25 minutes, special drop in one.
In a Dancing Operetta ‘The Understudy.’ Miss DeHaven is very clever, and she is assisted by five good looking girls. They make about six changes of costume all of them are very pretty. The girls are good singers and excellent dancers. Went very well. 21 minutes, full stage.
Scene is in an office, and the girls playing on typewriters. They are all good looking and good singers. Mr. Stanley gives his various imitations throughout the sketch all of which were good. Went very well. 24 minutes, full stage and close in one.
In ‘Taming of the Beast.’ Both James A. and Thomas Kiernan are very clever. Miss Cole is good looking, and has a very good voice. I can safely say that this sketch would make good anywhere. Went very well. 18 minutes, full stage and close in one.
This is a fair act. Miss LeClair can’t sing or dance, but the only thing that holds this act up is the Picks. Four picks, two girls and two boys. They are good dancers, and fair singers. The Baton Swinging and Gymnastic work is very good. Went fair. 13 minutes in two. Three shows.
Refined singers and dancers. Man and woman, both working straight. The girl is very pretty, and has a neat appearance on the stage. They both have good voices, but their dancing doesn’t amount to much. Went fair. 11 minutes in one. Three shows.
Parlor pastimes. Hale does some club swinging and hoop rolling fairly well and he is assisted by a boy. The boy gives a xylophone solo very well indeed, and he got a good hand at the close of the act. The act went fairly well. 15 minutes, full stage. Two shows.
Refined singers and dancers. The man has a good voice and is a good dancer. The woman is good looking and is a good dancer and a fair singer. Went very well. 11 minutes in one. Three shows.
