Monologue and song. The only failure on the bill. 12 min. in one, 2 shows.
In their old farce entitled, “Domestic Pets”. It was very well received by the audience this afternoon and as we have not had it in some years it was thoroughly all right. 20 min. full stage, 2 shows.
Very acceptable Banjo playing which went thoroughly all right for the three a day section. 12 min. in 1, three shows
This is a cute little canine and he does a number of tricks much out of the ordinary finishing with his playing upon the bells the same as formerly done by Edison’s Pug Dog. A very nice little act. 14 min. in 2, can work in one, if necessary, 3 shows
Two colored men in the usual act of its class and which should be rated as quite good from three a day standpoint. 16 min. in one, 3 shows
These people open with a song, of the [corrected, illegible] style. The woman does a little contortion business and the man very clever wooden shoe dancing. A very acceptable 3 a day turn. 14 min. open in 2, close in one, 3 shows.
Man and woman in a singing and change act. The man has a very nice tenor voice and the woman wears some very elaborate gowns making three changes in the act. Turn most pleasing to the eye and ear. 14 min. in one, 3 shows
Comedy musical act. These men belong in Providence and for that reason they are probably a little more valuable here than in the other cities; however, they do a very acceptable act principally on account of the novel manner in which the music is introduced. Their music is hardly to be called first class, but it is all right for a turn of that kind. Comedy is rather tame. At 2:30 and 8 o’clock they are O.K. 18 min. open full stage, close in 1, 2 shows
This is the best Lilliputian act of the whole lot. They do some really clever acrobatic work, heavy lifting, their comedy is good, and their wrestling bout at the finish is very strong. They open with 2 minutes in one and close full stage. Entire act 14. 2 shows.
Impersonator of noted actors, vaudeville and legitimate, introduced with special scenic and lighting effects on the same style as his old act but in rather better form. He made good to the fullest extent, this afternoon. 25 min. open in one, long enough to set his act, if the preceding set is not too elaborate, close full stage, 2 shows
