“The Weaker One”

This dramatic war playlet has an exceptional cast and was fairly well received.

John & Winnie Hennings

14 min. f.s.. This couple have appeared in this act here several times. The eccentric dancing of the man put the act over to a good hand.

Leavitt & Lockwood

17 min. in 1. This act starts slowly but the last six or seven minutes has some good comedy “bits” closing to a fair hand.

Juno Salmo

10 min. f.s., spl. Set. Contortionist working on pedestal and trapeze. The stage setting and lighting affects add materially to this act and it opened fairly well.

Mme. Cronin’s Novelty

13 min. f.s., spl. The electrical novelties are about the same as used in the old act. A pretty and graceful girl dancer and Mme Cronin’s soprano solo add a little variety.

Fern & Davis;

19 min. in 1 and 1 ½ spl. A very capable couple doing a variety of singing, talking and dancing; Received many laughs and pleased very much.

Lietu. B.C. Hilliam

15 min. in 1. This man appears in civilian clothes at the piano; sings a few songs, plays a couple of piano solos and tell a story or two. Went fair.

Annette Kellerman

41 min. in 1 and f.s. Miss Kellerman has rather a pretentious offering of singing, wire walking, dancing and diving assisted by a number of girls. This act makes quite a flash but seemed rather tame until Miss Kellerman starts her diving stunt. Arrived late and had to close the show. Held the audience very well in the afternoon. Doing business.

Olive Briscoe and Al Rough

15 min. in 1. Miss Briscoe has a couple of pretty gowns and her first number went over very good, but the act drops in the middle then comes back to a fairly good hand for the finish.

Embs & Alton

12 min. in 1. Boy and girl with a nicely arranged program of songs well handled. The girl is at the piano and the boy also plays one violin number.
