Favor and Sinclair

In sketch “Caesar’s Angel”. If this act was cut in half and the first part discarded it would be much improved. Are both clever artists and Favor’s song seems to take. Miss Sinclair presents a very fine appearance and handsome costumes. Full stage. Time 29 minutes.

Bruno and Russell

Singers and Dancers. They deserve a much better place on the bill, as both are clever and with the exception of a few rough spots in the comedy, have a neat sketch which goes very well. The woman has a please stage appearance and a good voice. Full stage. Time 20 minutes.

Mary Norman

Society Caricaturist. With the assistance of a maid Miss Norman dresses the part of four typical society belles from four representative cities of this country; New York, San Francisco, Boston and Chicago. Her monologue is each is bright and active; the distinction marked in its cleverness and unquestionably makes a decided hit here. Her costumes are extremely fetching and the entire act shows careful preparation. Full stage. Time 19.

Romany Trio

One man and two women in Roman peasant costume; the man plays cello and one of the woman a guitar solo while the other woman sings fairly; although all the selections are of a prohibitive age. Work in one. Time 16 minutes.

Foy and Clark

In sketch “the spring of youth.” No change in this act, but it is full of laughs from start to finish; situations are unique and make a hit with the audience. Use two house men. Full stage. Time 20.

Juggling Johnsons

Time – 10 minutes – sets: full stage . Carry special setting, which, with, distinguished appearance of the five men, is better and has more wonderful club juggling than any act of its kind in the world. There are four intricate passes when it is impossible for the eye to follow the clubs, the air being filled with multi-collored [sic] clubs. Well worth the money.

Lottie Brandon

Loop the Loop. Act of a nondescript character, seems to interest from its novelty as well as mystery; May make a decided sensation in some houses; keeps the audience guessing, which in itself is of merit. A hard act to pass upon. Full stage. Time 8 minutes

Al Leech and 3 Rosebuds

In schoolroom sketch. Makes a hit; leech as clever as ever as a dancer, and the four sing well together; his stair climbing act is of the best in that line of work. Opens full stage; close in one. 25 min.

John Kernell

Irish Alderman. Same as ever; has some new stuff in his monologue, but his songs are of an ancient vintage; but it matters little what John has to offer here, it is always accepted with a rush of enthusiasm from pit to dome. In one; time 13 minutes.

Lewis Mccord and Co

In “Her Last Rehearsal.” An unusually funny skit, which makes a most decided hit here. The studied awkwardness of Miss Mackenzie is so carefully done, as to smack of genuineness. The Stage Manager of Mr. McCord shows the genius of an artist and is most true to life. The stage setting is natural in its barrenness and the bits of business are frequent and funny. The acting of Romeo is of a very poor order- which is the only weak spot in the act. Full stage; time 29 minutes.
