“The Maid of Mystery.”

F.S. Special. 8 minutes. An acrobatic and contortionistic sort of dancer whose dancing is decidedly novel. The offering has been artistically worked up. Generous applause at close.

Dan Quinlan & Vic Richards

Time 23. 2 men (one black face). “The Travelling Dentist.” The act is good most of the time, although old here. It appears to be several minutes too long.

Paul Seldom’s Living Marble

Time 15. F.S. 3 men, 1 woman. Excellent statue posing after sculptured masterpieces, and some original groupings by Mr. Seldom.

Conlin, Steele & Carr

In 1. Time 16. 2 men, 1 woman. A bright line of fooling, patter and songs. Went big.

Charles W. Bower-Edith Hinkle & Co.

Time 20. C.D.F. 2 men 1 woman. “Superstition.” A medius [sic], political, newspaper sketch with good comedy and dramatic interest. A novelty.

Victor Niblo’s Talking Birds

In 1. Time 12. The birds speak a sentence or two in French and German, but most of the work is in English. The act is a big novelty and went well.

Pollard

C.D.F. Time 14. First class burlesque juggler, with some straight work also good.
