Miss Parker is much better. Her changes are quick, leavinging her partner little time alone on the stage. Brightens up the stage.
Have a black setting and dress in white. Opened their act with a series of poses which were hurt by the arrangement of the lights and the costuming of the men which were not well chosen to show off their muscular development. Their work is slow hand to hand positions.
Miss Fay performs some spirit cabinet tricks which were much better done by Harry Kellar. Does some hackneyed table lifting. Pretends to cause a hankerchief to rise through psychic force but a thread can be seen running out of it. The audience writes questions down on paper which they keep. Miss Fey comes out in an egyptian costume, sits in a large chair and is blindfolded and covered with a sheet. She then anwsers these questions.
There is a fat sailor, a Hebrew comedian and five others working straight. The scene shows a bright and attractive main deck. The acrobatic work is acomplished with smartness and certainty.
They have ideas away from the others and please though this and smart costumes. The young women who perform a duo dance should wear something under their blouses for decency. The men in the audience are moved to make remarks about their mamillary development.
Has adopted a very dumpy style of costuming and gives no attention to the minor points of finish.
Mr. Walton is a pantomimist of rare ability. The scene with the three toy soilders is a delightful piece of work. Adele Cox has replaced Will Archer as the child and is a clever little youngster.
