The act was fourteen minutes long.
Fitch Cooper (according to the program) is the originator of the musical hand saw. He dresses as a “rube” character and a red wig in the style of Jimmy Barry. He imitates animals and steamboat and train whistles through the use of his voice, a saw, a violin, and a guitar. He does comedy talk throughout.

The act was eight minutes long on the full stage.
Four boys and three girls from Mexico do a routine on the tight wire. They walk the two tight wires one by one and in duos and trios.

The act was twenty-four minutes long.
Hal Stephens does impersonations of Shylock, Mr. Pickwick, Rip Van Winkle, and Judas Iscariot. He gets into character makeup at a table on center stage and then emerges from behind a curtain into a picture frame-like set up. He performs each character from within the frame. The setting within the frame changes with each character. “The Merchant of Venice” was the backdrop for Shylock.
