Lyons & Yosco

This well known pair had not the slightest trouble in entertaining the house from the moment they came upon the stage to the finish of their act. They were accorded a reception upon their entrance and each and every one of their numbers went excellently. Finished strong. 19 minutes, street in one.

Beatrice Ingram & Co.

In the slang comedy sketch, “The Duchess.” A decidedly meritorious offering in which the star and her company appeared to the very best advantage. There was liberal laughter at the comedy, and the pathos was sure fire and rang true. The act gained the closest attention and must be voted an unqualified success. Finished strong. Kitchen in 5, 19 minutes.

Mullan & Conelli

This well known acrobatic duo made their customary hit here and there was not a dull moment during the time they occupied the stage. Finished strong. 11 minutes, street in one.

Mary Norman

Presenting “Some Women I Have Met.” Miss Norman was a decided hit all the way through, and her various take-offs on the feminine sex were received with shouts of laughter and unstinted applause. Would term her a very decided hit. 11 minutes, palace in 2.

Ed Morton

Singer of songs. Mr. Morton possesses a very pleasing personality and all of his numbers were very well received. He gave us 15 minutes of exceedingly entertainment and finished strong. 15 minutes. Olio in one.

Crouch & Welch

Young man and woman in a novelty acrobatic act that proved to be very successful opener and thoroughly pleased the house. Finished very well. 13 minutes, C.D.F.

Vallecita’s Leopards

A very meritorious offering in which a number of well trained animals are made to perform an interesting routine of work by a woman trainer.

Hill & Whitaker

Miss Whitaker scored a genuine hit. Her personality and ability took a very strong hold of the audience. The act as presented is different from that given here two seasons ago, or rather the manner of presentation is. Miss Whitaker sings her first song with her face protruding through a velvet drop in 2, a small spot light being thrown on her countenance during the rendition of the song. She does the remainder of her act before this special drop. Mr. Hill assists her very ably in the act, and instead of working on the stage he does so from the orchestra pit as musical director. The act was a genuine success.

Billy Van & Beaumont Sisters

For some reason or other this act didn’t create the hit looked for. There were some good laughs distributed along the line and the singing and dancing seemed to gain considerable favor. For an act of its reputation it was a disappointment. 30 minutes, special in 3.

Minnie St. Claire

Character comedienne who was a distinct and unqualified hit all the way through. The act went big and she finished strong. 25 minutes, olio in one.
