The Reiff Brothers

They have a very good medley of popular songs for an opening in which they do some dancing.

Bertha Kalish and Co.

This sketch entitled “A Light From St. Agnes” was twenty eight minutes long on the full stage. The sketch, which was previously presented in Chicago, stars Bertha Kalish (who plays a haughty Frenchwoman) and John Harrington (who plays her drunken and violent lover). When her lover tries to steal the diamond cross from the hands of the deceased St. Agnes at the chapel across the road, Kalish’s character attempts to stop him to disastrous effect. He stabs her to death.

Ruby Norton and Sam Lee

The act was fourteen minutes long. Norton and Lee open with a similar number to that of Brice and King. Both do solos and then come back together for two duets and dance numbers.

Beatie and Babs

The act as fourteen minutes long. Beatie and Babs are two young English girls making their first American appearance. The younger and smaller girl impersonates an English “Dame” in costume and makeup and sings. The other taller girl is a good tap dancer. She does one straight tap and after a costume change does a “top boot dance”.

Sander’s Russian Dancers

The act was seven minutes long on the full stage. Two women and three men start with a song and proceed with standard Russian dancing.
