Seven girls; two black-face; regular minstrel show and setting; have a handsome pink plush drop; this act went over very big, especially at the finish – patriotic number to close – eight curtains; 25 min. full stage.
With his “Talking Violin” – in his playing he makes his violin answer questions, says little witticisms, and in various other ways, indulges in speech; this act went better at matinee than at evening show – no hand at finish, 9 min in one.
In their marvelous act – “The Frog’s Paradise” – with Lady De Marlo, the Perfect Woman; special scenery; novelty contortion act; 8 min full stage; went fair.

“The Hand-cuff King” – extricates himself from five handcuffs around his wrists, handcuffed to one around his ankles, all the same time; also frees himself from the straight-jacket, etc., 21 min. full stage; did not go as well as I thought it would; that is did not get much of a hand.
The World’s Greatest Magical Entertainers – three men and a woman; a great comedy-mystery spectacle; introducing quite a number of magical tricks, among which was “Fire and Water”; this act went over very big. 16 min.
Booked as Vaudeville’s Newest Find – all that can be said of this act is that it went as an ordinary singing act, but as I am writing this he (NELSON) just finished on the second show and went big. 11 min in one.
Man and woman – This act took the place of Hallen & Goss, who left the Scenic, Pawtucket, so I heard late to-day, Tuesday night. I don’t understand why I was not notified of the fact. I got this act through the Boston Office in time for to-night’s show – act shy at matinee. This is a talking and singing act and went over very good. 12 min. in one.
Celebrated Violin Virtuoso – Harry Simpson, Accompanist; Very neat; played several difficult popular airs, accompanied only by her assistant, on the piano; she said our orchestra was two small – she had been used to 16 or 18 orchestra. 12 min. in olio; went only fair.
