Leo Zarrell Trio

Acrobats, 6 minutes, F.S. 3 men. Good acrobatic act, disclosing many difficult tricks performed in a masterly way. Audience greatly interested, and liked them immensely.

Taylor Sisters

Piano and singing, 10 minutes (1). Good act with voices rich in quality making the various vocal renditions exceptionally good, and eliciting good applause from a highly appreciable audience.

J.C. Lewis Jr & Co.

Comedy playlet, 23 minutes, C.D.F. 5 people. Good act, the little fellow making a big hit with [sic] his really clever comedy; The remaining members are all good aiding to the success of the playlet which went good.

The Strolling Players

Violin and singing, 14 minutes (1) 2 men. Fairly good act; The singer has got a bad cold which mars his work some but the other is great with the violin making a good hot with his different selections.

The Darlington Trio

The closing act was also great, musicians of much skill; The Darlington Trio who Im sure could head most any bill; Upon a large variety of instruments they play; and we have had none better here with us in many a day; The audience liked them greatly, and sent them off with much acclaim; And if we always had a show like this, ours would be undying fame!

Spencer and Brown

And next upon our program came a very clever team; who easily surpass all other acts like this I seen; An act already known to fameis [sic] this Spencer and Brown; And they have surely stirred things up a bit here in our town; The singing of the lady is exceptionally grand; And shows why ‘In the Candle Light’ is known throughout the land; the big applause which greeted them was of the heartiest kind; And a better act of this sort, I am sure one could not find.

Ray Snow

An excellent act to open the show; A real clever fellow is this Ray Snow; Who gives us fifteen minutes of song and funny talk; And all over his rivals he could ‘win in a walk’; The house received him kindly and were generous with applause; So vigorous that it must have reached quite to the outer doors; and when at last ‘twas over, and his act had all been done; The audience plainly showed that they had had some wholesome fun.

Three Ellisons

Musical act, 14 minutes, full stage, special set. Good act, displaying considerable ability in the performance on the xylophone which went very well with the audience. Their closing business the scene of which depicts the blacksmith shop, is very good, they performing upon the various articles found therein in a most capable way that won for them enthusiastic applause.

Friedland & Clark

Singing, talking and dancing skit, 15 minutes, (3). Fair act, making some very heroic attempts at comedy which does not seem to ‘arrive.’ A fairly good dance at the finish redeems the act to some extent.

Will Carpenter

Roller skating, 8 minutes, full stage. Good act, showing many skillful and difficult moves all performed in such a masterly way as to leave a most favorable impression.
