International Four

“Kings of Harmony.” Four men, dress in Palm Beach suits. Act consists of singing and some comedy. 12 minutes in one; went big all day. Good show all through; everybody seemed pleased, I heard quite a number of remarks on the show which were all very favorable.

Nevens & Gorden

Singing, talking and dancing, closing with the lads as a dummy soldier, throwing her all over the stage in all manner of shapes, which went great both matinee and night. 15 minutes; opern [sic] and close in one.

Tommy Ray

The Singing Fireman of the Ill-fated Lusitania. (Opens with a slide announcing himself, followed by a short reel of pictures showing him at work. He then comes on made up as a fireman. Sing popular numbers. Has a very good tenor voice.) Opens and closes in street. 12 minutes; went big at matinee and good at night.

Ethel Hopkins

In an act styled “Daughter of Vaudeville.” Was a complete failure. She blamed it on the orchestra – if she had been on hand at the proper time she would have had plenty of time for just rehearsal; arrived long after the orchestra had gone. 8 min.

Jack Wyatt and Scotch Lads and Lassies

Fra’ the Land O’Heather and the Highlands of Scotland. In kilts and tartans. From the time the curtain rises until its final fall there is something doing all the time. Singing Scotch songs, dancing, playing of the bagpipe. They make a very nice appearance in a Scothishdress [sic]. This act has plated here twice before. It went great all day. Six curtains this afternoon and eight tonight. 21 minutes.

Dolly Richards

Monologue. This woman has a nice line of talk on the peculiarities of woman. Makes a nice neat appearance. Her line of talk was new, at least to this audience, which was enjoyed immensely. 11 minutes in one.

Ruby Cavell & Company

“An Up-to-date Oddity.” Two women, twin dancers, and a man violomist [sic]: Russian dancing, toe dancing and also some singing by one of the dancers. Special setting. 10 minutes. Full stage. This act went very poor indeed.

Henrietta Crosman and Co.

In “Cousin Eleanor.” 21 minutes f.s. Special set. This is an excellent comedy, and Miss Crosman has gathered a good company to support her. The woman who plays the chorus lady is exceptionally clever. Got many laughs and closed strong.

Oklahoma Bob Allbright

In a characteristic Song Cycle. He has a fine tenor voice and put his songs over telling effect. Was accompanied by a lady pianoist [sic]. This act was a complete cleanup. 20 minutes in one.

George Lovett

“The Mental Marvel.” Presents “Concentration.” One man two woman [sic]. Mind reading act. Woman do the mind reading while men collects papers through the audience and hurls questions in rapid order which are answered quickly and in most instances correctly. One woman plays the piano as quick as selections are written. While the other answers the questions. 17 minutes full stage. Went good.
