“The Elite Entertainer in Magic” – makes-up straight, very neat, has a good line of tricks, especially his card tricks are very slick. 11 min, full stage; went good.
Three women and two men; very neat appearance; carry a dark blue setting; sings five songs and a piano solo; never got a hand until the last song; think this a very poor act for the money.
In “The Garden of Love” – one woman and four men; musical comedy act; dressed in oriental costumes; carry their own stage setting, which was a scene of the far East and showed a good advantage. 27 min. Went good.
“The Politician.” His monologue was very funny throughout and created lots of laughter and applause; then he got serious and rendered a beautiful recitation which went over with tremendous applause – a great hit with the audience. 16 min in one.
In a comedy singing skit, entitled “Ah, Gimme the Ring” man and woman; songs, music and mostly comedy; the girl’s comedy part went big; 17 min. in one. Whole act went good.
“The World’s Greatest Dog, Mathematician and Mind Reader.” Worked by a man, the dog works rather slow which makes it rather long drawn our, but the act went over good. 23 min. C.D.F.
In “Love’s Follies” – acrobats, juggling, cello, piano, violin, three men, one takes a woman’s character; one takes the character of Charlie Chaplin, etc. 18 min. C.D.F. went fair.
In a lot of nonsensical talk, dancing and singing; change of costumes of war times; Southern belle and her lover; (man and woman) went good. 15 min. in one.
In impressions of the greatest operatic artists; if people; special scenery and fine costumes. This act went over immense; 10 curtains; will be the talk of the town from what I have already heard; the Madame was very much very impressed and pleased with the reception she received here in Woonsocket. 24 min.
