Those two eccentric girls – comedy talking and singing act; one coming from the audience. One of these girls very slim and the one who works in audience very stout was very amusing to the audience. 11 min in one; went good.  

Resista

“The Ninety Found Girl Whom No One Can Lift” – two women and a man on the stage, also carry several “plants.” Resista is carried out in the audience for the people to try and lift her, but no one seemed anxious to try – the matinee was very tame, but at night got several men to go on the stage to try their strength, but all failed to left her from the floor, to the amusement of the audience. 14 min, full stage.

Leonard Gautier’s Animated Toy Shop

Stage setting as a toy shop – suddenly they come to life; four ponies and three dogs; (Three men) Ponies and dogs do their regular stunts to the amusement of all; went good. 15 min. full stage. This act was here about a year ago.

Mack & Lee

In “Milk and Melody.” A comedy skit; man and woman; singing and talking; man dresses as a milkman carrying a tray of milk thro the orchestra, does a lot of breezy talk, then on to the stage, where they finish up big. 14 min. in one.

The Great Mankichi & Company

Present “A Japanese Classic” – two men and a woman; umbrella, top spinning, etc. and comedy work with the barrel; beautiful stage setting, drop of silk worked in Japanese designs. 12 min. full stage; went good.

March’s Musical Merry Makers

“The Broken Idol.” The scene is laid in the famous Chinatown of Los Angeles; the costumes and electrical effects are very fine; singing, dancing, etc.

The Volunteers

Four men; a singing novelty, in the opening number one work as a director in the pit while another works from the rear of the orchestra, after which they get all together. 12 min in one; went good.

Frank Crumit

“The One Man Glee Club” – sang old Southern melodies; told several funny stories, chiefly about darkies, played the guitar and ukulele; 10 min in one; went big.

Kelly & Galvin

“The Italian and the Actor” – character comedy act; the Italian seems to get everything mixed to the great delight of the audience; little dancing, singing and principally talking; 20 min in one. This act went over great. Tremendous applause.

Harold Du Kane, June Edwards & Gladys Taylor

In their own new “Futuristic Dancing Spectacle” – special set – the audience did not seem to care for this kind of dancing, as this afternoon they did not get a hand, and this evening not much better; 15 min. full stage.
