Delmore & Lee

Own set. Black. 10 minutes. Their ladder act which is exceedingly well done and which gained applause throughout and closed very satisfactorily, despite the late hour at which they appeared. 2 shows.

Sullivan & Weston

– C.D.F. 17 minutes. 5 minutes in one. A non-descript discussion, which by the lively way of its presentation appealed to our audience to-day and earned much laughter and considerable applause. Their close in one however, is not an advantage to the act unless they could introduce some better talk, but they closed well and should do the whole act in one, 2 shows.

Eva Mudge

Own set. Full stage, 15 minutes. Her familiar imitations and character changes, which did not seem to be able to arouse our audience to-day. However, a number of them were well received and her singing of a [illegible, “conn”?] song at the close, earned her a recall. 3 minutes in one. 2 shows.

Robert Fulgora

Own set. 18 minutes. In his impersonations and rapid changes. The changes of course are well done as is well known. The act is pretentious for him and the greater part of it got by nicely and was quite well received. His description of the suburban race at the close, introducing 3 card-board horses, that look nothing like horses evoked laughter from the gallery, and surely does not add anything to his act. The act may be called good, and very good if he gets 3 images that look like horses. 2 shows.

Arthur Buckner

Garden in 4. 11 minutes. Received a slight reception, presenting his familiar bicycle act which was well received, and his daring ride down the ladder [illegible] at the close, carried him off to good applause. 3 shows

Franzmathes & Lewis

Garden in 4. 12 minutes. Expert Rifle Shooters. Not having had such an act in this house for some time, the act was well received throughout, man doing about all the work and closing them to good applause. 3 shows.

Clifford & Harvey

Drapery in one. 10 minutes. Two young girls whose singing hardly gets by, but their clog shoe dancing at the close, carries them off exceedingly well. 3 shows

The Gottlobs

Plain chamber. 24 minutes. Man and woman in an ordinary sketch entitled “Government Bonds”. Received fairly well throughout and closed well. 3 shows.

Ader Trio

Mounted Club Jugglers. Garden in 3. 8 minutes. Local man and two boys doing a comparatively neat juggling act which was well applauded throughout and at the close. 3 shows.

Eddie Foy & Co.

25 min, CDF in 3. Assisted by a man, woman and girl, in the ‘The Man Behind the Gun.’ Of course, Foy is the whole sketch. When he’s on, the fun is fast and furious – and he’s on a great deal of the time. He was a pronounced hit here, as elsewhere, and will draw money all week. Had to make his accustomed speech before the curtain, and then the audience stopped the show for more.
